W hat is your favorite holiday treat? How about a great Ginger Bread House or Sugar Cookies that are so sweet, light and fresh out of the oven? Or are you siding with the tradtional pumpkin pie? Maybe you can't wait until the Day of the Three Kings or Dia de los Santo Reyes where you can enjoy the once a year flavor and fun of the Rosca de Reyes. Which ever treat is your favorite; the holidays are the perfect time for sharing the yummy treats that make every guest feel special.

Perhaps the " rosca de los reyes", is the most traditional of the holidays because it does have actual religious significance. The rosca is asemi-sweet bread shaped in the form of a braided wreath (or crown) to honor the the Three Kings finding the baby Jesus after he was born. This holiday is the Epiphany which falls on January 6th... dia de los Santo Reyes (Holy Kings Day)... the day when the decorations can now really come down because it is the last day of teh holidays. This tradition is one of the most honored and revered in the Hispanic culture.
